Welcome Lake – Campsite #6

I had seen pictures of this site before, but one thing I never saw was the amazing tent pad at the front of the campsite. The sand is supported by a wooden log and is large enough to fit a small 2-3 person tent, facing the open water east to wake up with the sunrise. The interior is similar to Campsite #1, relatively small with a few tent spots and not much seating surrounding an average fire pit. Although, this site is a bit more sheltered and had tons of wood leftover for the next group. The beach isn’t as large as some others on the lake, but it’s still pretty great in my opinion. I wouldn’t mind camping here, especially if I wanted to get on the water early the next morning… the sunrise beach tent pad is definitely a great feature.
