Queer Lake – Campsite #5

This campsite on Queer Lake has everything that most people need; flat tent spot areas, decent fire pit with a couple of benches for seating, and views out onto the water. It’s by no means a spectacular site, but it has all of the essentials to get the job done.  It does lack a bit of privacy with the number of nearby campsites, but that’s an issue with many of the sites on Queer Lake. There are a few better campsites on Queer Lake, and there are a few worse ones as well. So should you aim to camp here? I’d say it depends on how busy the lake is, and what time you arrive. If you have the luxury of paddling around, you can try and find a nicer site, but if you don’t think you’ll have too many options and this site is still available, it’s probably worth taking.
