This is the first campsite on the left hand side when coming into Mouse Lake from Club Lake. You would see the campsite marker on a tree by a terrible landing, but rounding the corner would reveal a large beachfront which is the better landing. There are two short trails from the beachfront leading to each respective campsite, Campsite #1 and Campsite #2. The beach is shared between both sites, so if both campsites are occupied you’ll probably be making some new friends if it’s a sunny day and both groups want to enjoy the beach. The main campsite has an ok fire pit with some old, unstable seating. But it’s near the shoreline and offers a nice view onto the water. Throughout the rest of the site are a handful of good tent spots and a very short walk to the nearby thunder box. That’s pretty much it. The campsite itself is pretty good, but the large beachfront is really the main appeal.
