McGarvey Lake – Campsite #3

There are 3 campsites on McGarvey, but only 2 permits get issued. I’m willing to bet that 99% of the time, this is the campsite that goes unoccupied. Actually, make that 99.999% of the time. Not only is it completely overgrown, with no good tent spots, a poor canoe landing, and no sunning areas… but it also has these eerie boulders throughout the site. I honestly felt a bit on edge when checking out the campsite. Not for any particularly reason, it just has those eerie vibes. If you’re coming to McGarvey, choose Campsite #1 or Campsite #2
