I’ve often said that if you camp on Lake Louisa, you’re basically guaranteed to get a nice site. I think this campsite is a good example of that. It’s not usually a first pick on Louisa, but it’s still a great site by normal standards. Open rock at the shoreline, good tent spots, sheltered interior, etc. The main drawback is that the fire pit is completely exposed at the front of the site, and has pretty poor seating. So depending on your group size, and the weather forecast, it may not be ideal. But otherwise this site isn’t too bad.
