Lake Louisa – Campsite #20

Campsite #20 on Lake Louisa is relatively hidden as you paddle through the lake; it’s on the northern shore and tucked behind two of the islands on the lake. It’s a nice site however, especially when there’s low water levels because the rocky shoreline will be even more exposed. The site offers nice views onto the lake with a rocky shoreline that’s great for swimming, sunbathing, and stargazing. The interior of the site is sheltered and has a handful of flat tent spot options, a well built fire pit, and a good amount of seating. There are some nicer sites on Lake Louisa, but there’s nothing really wrong with this site… I guess the only downside would be noise coming from people camping on the islands, but most campsites are nearby one another on Louisa so there are few sites where neighbouring noise wouldn’t be an issue.
