Head Lake – Campsite #2

This is a pretty great campsite in context of normal campsites, but in context of Head Lake campsites, it’s right around average. What I mean by that is Campsite #5, Campsite #4, and Campsite #1 I would take over this site… but that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with this site. In fact, it’s pretty damn good. The fire pit is well built with a couple flat benches to sit on. There’s room to pitch probably 4 or 5 tents comfortably (not that the average group has that many anyways). It has some exposed areas, but also some sheltered areas that you could easily pitch a tarp. And a little bit of rock at the shoreline to top it off. For Head Lake, most people aren’t rushing to camp at this site, but if it’s a busy evening on the lake and you end up here, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
