Harry Lake – Campsite #1
As you enter Harry Lake from the east you’ll arrive at this campsite pretty much immediately as you exit the river from Welcome. The site has a massive west-facing beachfront that will make you think you’re in the Caribbean in search of a margarita. There’s a small fire pit on the beach with the primary fire pit just a few meters inland. The fire pit and kitchen area isn’t anything to write home about, but you’d be choosing this site for the west-facing beach more than anything else. There are a couple of large tent spots to choose from and tons of space to roam around. This is a great site in sunny weather and/or for a large group… as long as you don’t mind the traffic of people passing right by the site as they enter or leave the river.
