Casey Lake – Campsite #3

This lake is nice and small, and possibly less commonly used since a 1300m+ portage is needed to reach it. There’s almost certainly no through traffic on this lake due to that. Generally people would be most likely to portage in and stay overnight (or more), so there should be relatively few visitors. This campsite might be a bit less appealing than the other two on this lake, but it’s still quite a decent and pleasant site. It gets less of the evening light (after maybe 7pm or so) and there isn’t much for flat tent spot options. There’s also a bit less of the sunny open lakeside rocks, but there’s still a good amount of lakefront space. The fire pit and seating is decent. It’s not a large campsite, but it’s not cramped either (maybe not great for a larger group).
