There is only one bad thing about this campsite so I’m going to get that out of the way first. It has a major climb from the rocky shoreline to the main campsite area. That’s it. Ok, now on to the good stuff. The rocky shoreline is large, flat in places, and offers amazing swimming opportunities, along with sunbathing and late night stargazing. At the top of the campsite is a decent fire pit area with a chunk of rock directly behind the fire pit to sit on or store your gear. The campsite itself is situated on a peninsula with a wide panoramic view of Killarney Lake. And since the campsite is on a big elevation, the view is even more commanding and breathtaking. Top it off with 3 potential tent spots, all quite large, and you have a pretty awesome site on Killarney Lake.
