White Birch Lake – Campsite #2

This is the least desirable campsite on White Birch Lake in my opinion. The canoe landing isn’t terrible, but it’s not great either. A short incline takes you to the main campsite area, which is relatively small compared to the other campsites on the lake. It has a fire pit, two medium sized tent spots, and good shelter. The thunder box is very close to the campsite, but I didn’t like that I was able to see a tarp hanging in the distance from the nearby Campsite #3 while checking out the thunder box… privacy may be an issue while doing your business if someone from that campsite went exploring or to collect firewood. What this site lacks compared to the other campsites on White Birch Lake is the scenic views and rocky shoreline. It has all the essentials that a campsite needs, but nothing that will make you fall in love with the site.
