Tepee Lake – Campsite #4
This is a very small campsite on the Little Oxtongue River (Tepee Lake for reservation purposes) that I don’t particularly like. There’s a fire pit with some old rotted seating surrounding it, and two tent spots nearby; one is large and flat, the other is a bit wavy. The canoe landing isn’t all that great either. And that’s pretty much it for the campsite. I didn’t explore too much around the campsite because in the few minutes I was there, I already knew I would never want to camp there by choice. I didn’t get a good vibe from the campsite and there’s really nothing special about it. There’s nothing that would make you say to someone “Go to this campsite because of…”. In my opinion, it’s just a very average, forgettable campsite.
