Rock Lake – Campsite #2
This is officially my least favourite campsite on Rock Lake. It has no canoe landing at all in high water levels. Maybe it’s better in lower water levels but honestly it didn’t look like it would be. The fire pit and seating are right by the water which I usually like, but not in this case. The site is tiny; it’s just the fire pit and seating and two tent spots. That’s the whole site. It’s small and enclosed with dense forest behind the site. It’s also one of the only campsites on Rock Lake that doesn’t have a rocky shoreline. I wouldn’t want to camp here by choice, and unless you’re the last one on the lake during a busy summer weekend, you probably won’t need to either.
