Rock Lake – Campsite #13

This campsite is closed for camping. It’s a nice campsite though. It’s kind of weird actually. It’s a small campsite with massive cliffs behind the main campsite area. The front of the site is completely exposed, so your tent would likely go on an exposed patch of ground. Even though the campsite is closed to camping, the fire pit is still there, but there’s a massive tree that has fallen down right over it. I’m not sure if it’s closed for bear activity, safety concerns, or just so it has some time to rejuvenate, but the orange marker that normally indicates a campsite has been replaced with a sign that shows no tents and no fires. Aka no camping. The shoreline has chunks of large rocks to walk along and explore, and the canoe landing is pretty decent too. But none of that really matters because the campsite is off limits!
