On the map, the island that this campsite is located on might seem quite small, but don’t let that fool you because there’s plenty of place to set up camp on the island. We had two tents and one hammock set up with enough place to set up at least another tent or two. There’s a nice fire pit and two log benches with plenty of tree coverage. You can easily walk around the island and it’s a very nice peaceful location just one portage away from Lake Opeongo and close to the portage to Happy Isle. The canoe landing is mostly on rocks.
