Algonquin & Beyond

Red Pine Bay – Campsite #1

The western of the two island sites on Red Pine Bay in Algonquin. It’s a very small island, but isn’t very exposed and doesn’t offer great views onto the lake. I couldn’t find one decent tent spot either, and there isn’t much seating around the fire pit. The site isn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a large group; for a solo traveller it would be alright. The fire pit and seating area are its main redeeming qualities.
