Raven Lake – Campsite #1
One of two campsites on Raven Lake, this site is 50/50 the one you’ll end up with if there are two reservations for the lake. The site has its pros and cons, but the cons definitely outweigh the pros in my opinion. One con is that the site is situated on top of a major slant, making it extremely difficult to unload your gear and bring it up to the campsite. There might be a separate landing off to the side somewhere, but I didn’t notice it. Another con is that there is very limited seating around the fire pit, which isn’t ideal for a large group. The pros are that there are several large tent spots to choose from (able to accommodate basically any group size), and it’s well sheltered from the elements.
