Ralph Bice Lake – Campsite #13

How this campsite is an actual official campsite in the park, I have no idea. If you’ve watched Cast Away recently and want to try and become Tom Hanks, sure, give this site a try. It’s a super pretty and cute site for a sunny afternoon considering it’s smaller than a 1 bedroom Toronto condo and surrounded by shallow beaches with crystal clear waters. But that’s it. There’s maybe 2 trees on the campsite offering practically zero protection from any elements, and I have no idea where you’d even pitch a tent that can sleep more than 2 people. Maybe there are better tenting options inland, but I didn’t follow the overgrown path for long enough to find out. Look, if you just want to soak in the sun and enjoy gorgeous views, this campsite is perfect. But if there’s any wind or rain you absolutely need to look elsewhere. It’s the perfect campsite to stop at for lunch, but a pretty terrible campsite to stay at for an extended period of time.
