Ragged Lake – Campsite #17

This campsite looks very inviting from the distance with its large beachfront. When you arrive you’ll find a fire pit on the beach in between some log seating, and a flat’ish spot for a tent directly behind the fire pit, in the middle of a rolling hill. The main campsite area however is much farther inland. Like, the farthest trail I’ve ever had to walk from a landing to the actual campsite (probably 50-100 metres realistically). The main site has another fire pit and a bunch of actual flat ground for tents. But it feels kind of… creepy? I’m not a fan of campsites that are so far inland, and you know it’s going to get dark super early as well inside the site. But if you camp here, hopefully you’ll be spending most of the time on the beach.
