Queer Lake – Campsite #8

If you don’t mind the sloping entrance and elevated site, you might enjoy this campsite. The fire pit and seating aren’t great either, but it’s spacious with a few large patches of flat ground to pitch 2-3 tents comfortably. It’s near the 2.4km portage into Little Misty, but otherwise it’s far enough away from the busy dense north end of the lake. You may get a few groups passing by in the day, but in the evening it’s one of the more private campsites on the lake.
