Queer Lake – Campsite #6

This is in my opinion the nicest campsite on Queer Lake. It checks off almost every box for an ideal campsite. The canoe landing is easily accessible and tucked away to the side of the site. There’s a mini cliff at the front of the site offering gorgeous views onto Queer Lake, providing opportunities for sunbathing and stargazing as well. In the interior, there’s plenty of seating around the fire pit, and one of those abnormally large tent spots that you don’t often come across in Algonquin. This site is great for all group sizes and all weather conditions; it’s also very aesthetic and offers spectacular elevated views. If this site is available, you should absolutely camp here.
