Queer Lake – Campsite #13

This is the closest campsite to the portage into Little Trout, in the northwest shore of Queer Lake. It’s not the most exciting site and doesn’t have many unique qualities. It’s placement near the portage is probably the only reason you would take this site, if you were looking to cut down on travel time the next day. But honestly, the lake is pretty small and there are other campsites nearby, so I would opt for a site that has better views and more to offer. One last thing to consider, because it’s near the portage, you may hear lots of noise from people loading / unloading their boats throughout the day, but once the day traffic dies down, it will be one of the more private sites on the lake.
