Polly Lake – Campsite #1

This is the first campsite you would see on Polly Lake when entering from the 2.6km Canisbay Portage. This campsite is in stark contrast to the other campsite on Polly Lake; this campsite is interior, sheltered, and confined. It’s not a flashy campsite with scenic views, but rather a campsite you would choose when you want privacy and shelter. The tent spot options are right beside the fire pit, which is a short walk away from the canoe landing. It’s a simple campsite; what you see is what you get. In good weather, I would choose the other site, but if you’re worried about winds and/or rain, this site definitely offers more shelter.
