Pen Lake – Campsite #13

This is the last campsite on the east shore as you head south down Pen Lake. Most people camping on Pen won’t be paddling this far down the lake, and there isn’t too much through traffic into Clydegale, so the campsite offers a decent bit of privacy relative to the rest of Pen Lake. It’s another rocky elevated campsite like several others on Pen, with a large and spacious interior. The fire pit, seating, and tent spots are enough to accommodate a large group, and the large boulder in the middle of the site offers a unique aspect to the site. The canoe landing is rocky yet very accessible, but theres a bit of a walk and climb to get from the landing to the main site.
