Owl Lake – Campsite #2

Campsite #2 on Owl Lake is extremely close to Campsite #3, and you can actually both see and hear people from the other site. In the background of the “View out of site” image, you can see the large rock that extends out of Campsite #3, which looks a lot closer in person than it does in the image. But other than the close proximity, this site isn’t too bad. It’s a small site, but being right by the shoreline means it gets a decent bit of sunshine while offering a nice view onto the lake. There’s a good amount of seating around the fire pit, and a large flat area for tents. The site is nothing to write home about, but it’s also not terrible. This campsite would be ideal for a solo traveller, or for half of a large group, if the other half were to camp on the adjacent campsite.
