Owl Lake – Campsite #1
The southern shore campsite on Owl Lake is hands down one of the most uninviting campsites I’ve come across. The overgrown shrubby shoreline is the first impression you get of this non-welcoming site. On land there’s a couple rocks on the ground which seems to be the main fire pit, with seating that’s equally as disappointing. There is flat ground for a tent, but it’s literally a couple feet beside the fire pit. And that’s basically all there is to the site. It’s small and uninviting, and given the other campsites on Owl and the surrounding lakes, I can’t see myself ever camping here.
