North Grace Lake – Campsite #2
From the water this campsite looks like it might be pretty rough. The front of the site has some growth on the rocks and has a few large downed trees. But looks can be deceiving. The front of the site is open and spacious with tons of room to stretch out and enjoy the sun. The fire pit faces the water and has great seating surrounding it, especially that one spot at the head of the table. There are two trees directly beside the fire pit and seating that would make the area easy to tarp if you were expecting rain. Further back is also quite spacious with a handful of large tent spots to choose from. A last small bonus is that the site is right beside what I was calling North Grace’s own “mini lake”; a tiny subsection of North Grace through a very small passageway, protected from the winds and maybe even a good spot to see wildlife.
