Campsite #2 on North Branch Lake is a big campsite. The campsite can be easily spotted from the water. The canoe landing is easy wherever you choose, with a level exit that is mostly sandy below. For being a site on a remote lake it’s evident that this site gets used more than average. There is evidence that the previous guests have taken down more trees than what they needed. The site is wide open and trees coverage is thin. Around the campfire pit is a large bench style seat and a seat with a back. A ‘sawhorse’ style table is present too. The thunder box is in ok condition.
