Mouse Lake – Campsite #2
This campsite shares the large beachfront with Campsite #1. A short trail leads from the beach to the main campsite area, and if you choose to stay at this site I highly recommend landing at the beach and carrying your gear through the trail. The front of the campsite is just a maze of large boulders and basically impossible to use as a canoe landing. The main campsite is similar to Campsite #1 with a few small differences. The fire pit area is a bit nicer, though it’s inland and not at the waters edge, so it doesn’t offer as nice of a view. The interior is a bit more spacious overall though. But just like Campsite #1, the main appeal of this campsite would be if you wanted to take advantage of the large, soft sand beach that offers a gorgeous view out onto Mouse Lake.
