Of the two sites on this lake, this is the one further east and is mostly not as nice as the western campsite. The main benefit of this campsite is that you have more access to the sun later in the day. Otherwise, it’s smaller, with less of an open lakefront space. It’s also much less level, to the point where placing a tent anywhere is challenging (especially for larger tents). The fire pit area is also much smaller and less convenient than the western campsite on Moccasin Lake.
