McIntosh Lake – Campsite #14

This is a pretty mediocre campsite on McIntosh Lake. The fire pit is exposed to potential wind and rain (tarping is possible with the surrounding trees), and there isn’t enough room to comfortably sit more than a few people; although there is a cool manmade wooden chair similar to the one on Campsite #7. Nearby there are two large spots to pitch tents, but after that there’s just a steep incline at the back of the site leading towards the forest. It’s a relatively small and uneventful site, but at least it offers a beautiful view onto the water to watch the sunset.
