Just like Campsite #11 on Erables Lake, I’m not sure why this campsite even exists. It’s not on a stretch of river travel or a long creek like the two campsites on Maple Creek. Instead, this campsite is located on a very short portage, and on either side of the portage there are lakes with multiple campsites to choose from. So why does this campsite exist? Anyways, the campsite is ok for what it is I guess. It has a surprisingly cool fire pit with one bench of seating a bit too far away. It has one obvious tent spot that looks like it’s never been used. The logging road is directly in view from the campsite. On the plus side, it does have a pretty view onto the creek from a small opening in the trees. And the sound of running water from the creek is soothing too. But trust me, none of those things make this campsite appealing enough to even considering staying at, unless you absolutely need to.
