Littledoe Lake – Campsite #9

This Campsite Report is a Guest Submission. The description and images are not my own so I cannot personally verify its accuracy. If you notice any errors, please let me know. If you want to submit your own Campsite Report, visit the submission page.

This campsite on Littledoe Lake has a really convenient canoe landing access which is right next to the site. This part of Littledoe Lake has a mushy shallow bottom and it’s a bit smelly actually, and so the swimming here isn’t so attractive (we saw a couple leeches as well). The site isn’t very large but it is relatively flat so there isn’t really a bad spot to pitch more than one tent. However, over half of the site was covered with windblown long grass. The fire pit and seating are the big pros of this site as well as the large conifer on the water’s edge which enhances the excellent views of the lake.
