Littledoe Lake – Campsite #4
I did this campsite report in record time. The canoe landing is very far away from the main campsite area and when I visited, the water levels were extremely high. This meant the canoe landing was terrible and I had to leave the canoe floating in the water with a rope tied to a branch. It was also a very windy day, so of course the second I made it about 100m away from my canoe, into the main campsite area, I got paranoid. I quickly snapped some pictures and then ran back to my canoe. In the very short time I scouted the site it looked pretty nice. It has a good fire pit with good seating surrounding it. The site is very open and provides beautiful views out onto the water. The official campsite marker is on the south end but the campsite itself faces northwest, so it should get a pretty view of the sunset. There was lots of open ground at the site so there should be plenty of places to pitch tents. It looked like a pretty good site overall. I just really dislike when the landing is far from the campsite, and in this case it is very far. But otherwise I liked the site.
