Littledoe Lake – Campsite #2a

I don’t use the word ‘meh’ very often, but I’m going to use it right now. This campsite was very meh. The fire pit and seating are good enough and provide a nice view onto the water, but it’s in such a busy area of the park and everyone will be passing by right in front of you. I only found one suitable spot to pitch a tent, but like I often say in my reports for campsites that I check out quickly, maybe there were more options further inland that I missed. Another thing I disliked about this campsite was that it has a rather annoying climb from the canoe landing to the main campsite area. The landing itself is ok, but maneuvering through the poor terrain to get to the campsite would just be a pain. If accessibility is an important factor that you look for when choosing a campsite, then this isn’t the campsite for you. I was trying to think what I liked about this campsite but I couldn’t think of much, so I guess that means I give it a rating of ‘meh’.
