Little Trout Lake – Campsite #11
This campsite is in the middle of Little Trout Lake, on the north shore. It’s a nice site on a small point, which gets sun for most of the afternoon. The interior of the site is relatively exposed, however the tent spots are a bit further back where there is more shelter. There’s a large flat rock by the fire pit to act as a kitchen table, but there isn’t too much seating otherwise, so if you’re camping with a large group, you’d probably need to bring some extra chairs. Being in the middle of the lake, you’ll probably hear a lot of noise from neighbouring sites and see a lot of canoes pass by. But it’s a cute little site that would be a good choice if you’re expecting decent enough weather.
