Lawrence Lake – Campsite #1
This is the nicest of the three campsites on Lawrence Lake, in my opinion. It has an easy accessible canoe landing with a sloped rocky shoreline that faces west for the sunset. The main campsite is a tiny bit more inland with a welcoming fire pit area and two medium sized tent pads. The fire pit area is exposed though, with limited tarping options. So if you’re expecting rain you might prefer to choose one of the other campsites; but in good weather, this would probably be my first choice.
