Lake Opeongo, South Arm – Campsite #31
The first thing you would notice when arriving at this campsite is the smooth sloped rocky shoreline, offering an easily accessible entrance to the campsite. But don’t let that landing fool you, the rest of the site is hilly and not very accessible. It’s so sloped that I couldn’t find a single spot that I would be happy pitching my two person tent. Up at the top of the main campsite is an ok fire pit without any seating surrounding it, and as already mentioned, no notable tent spots. That’s all the site has to offer. A good landing and an ok fire pit. If you’re like me and tend to like a little more pizazz in your campsite, then this isn’t the campsite for you.
