Lake Opeongo North Arm – Campsite #21

This Campsite Report is a Guest Submission. The description and images are not my own so I cannot personally verify its accuracy. If you notice any errors, please let me know. If you want to submit your own Campsite Report, visit the submission page.

Campsite #21 in the north arm of Lake Opeongo is an east facing campsite. It has a sandy bottom landing with a small vertical climb incline to the main campsite area. The front of the campsite is a great swimming spot. It looks like the campsite is mainly used by fishing groups. It’s also very busy with motor boat traffic. Near the fire pit and seating area is a make-shift table surrounding a tree trunk in the centre of the campsite. The campsite is not great for firewood. There is room for one tent in the centre of the campsite, and then room for two more tents away from the main fire pit area, situated in a low area.
