Joe Lake Western Narrows – Campsite #9a

There aren’t many pictures for this campsite report because I didn’t even go on shore to look at the campsite. The high water levels meant there was no good place to land the canoe and there was no orange campsite marker at the site. I believe the site is either unofficial or decommissioned. Either way the campsite is very tiny. There’s really nothing to it, just a small fire pit with no seating. This campsite can be found on some maps, but with no campsite marker I’m not sure of its official status. Either way, it looks like a terrible site so I doubt you’d want to camp here anyways.
