Joe Lake East Arm – Campsite #8

This campsite is on the southern shoreline of Joe Lake’s East Arm with a long rocky shoreline to enjoy the sun and go for a swim. There’s a very small fire pit by the water with no bench seating, just the rocky ledge in front of it. A short trail takes you inland to the rest of the site where you’ll find a few sheltered tent pads. The trails went on a bit further but I didn’t explore any more, so either it leads to even more tent spots, or just to the thunder box. Either way, this site offers little privacy by the water, but good privacy and shelter inland for your tent.
