Grassy Bay – Campsite #2

This is the western of the two campsites on Grassy Bay. This campsite is much more inviting than Campsite #1 with its exposed landing and large rock jutting out towards the water. The large rock provides a place to sit and enjoy the sun, although the swampy surroundings will probably prevent you from wanting to swim. The fire pit and seating, along with the tent spots, are slightly better than the other campsite but not by much. Overall the two campsites on Grassy Bay are pretty similar but Campsite #2 would be my preferred choice.

UPDATE: As of August 2022 it was reported that the orange campsite marker is missing. However, there is no indication that the campsite is closed.
