Clydegale Lake – Campsite #5
This is one of my least favourite sites on Clydegale Lake, but it’s still a very nice site… that’s saying something about the quality of sites on Clydegale! This campsite has a nice view for the sunset, it has several flat tent spot options, and it has a good enough fire pit. There’s also a flat canoe landing with a gradual incline to the elevated campsite, which is in contrast to some of the other campsites on Clydegale which have a steep climb to get to the site. You’ll have a good amount of privacy if you camp here since the only people passing by will be those who want to check if the island site is available. I do prefer most of the other sites on Clydegale over this one, but this site is a great Plan B if you’ve already paddled all the way to the south of the lake only to find the island site taken.
