Clydegale Lake – Campsite #1 – 2018

This is my second time camping on this campsite. My first time was only a year prior, but I was surprised with how much the site had changed. Most of the seating around the fire pit had been removed, and parts of the site are starting to become overgrown (for example, the image labelled “Overgrown tent spot” in this report compared to “Small tent spot” in last year’s report; they are the same location). The water levels were also much lower this year which made the large rock at the front of the island accessible by foot, through a rocky pathway from the mainland. Overall the site is still basically the same, and there are still a few tent spots to choose from at the bottom of the hill near the canoe landing. This is still my preferred site on Clydegale Lake.
