Canisbay Lake – Campsite #15
Talk about dinner with a view! The view from the fire pit towards the massive rocky shoreline and the waters of Canisbay Lake is definitely the highlight of this campsite. Directly behind the fire pit is a very small tent pad, but don’t worry because a few feet behind that is a very massive tent pad. The larger tent pad could easily accommodate 3-4 tents. The rest of the campsite is relatively spacious, but with enough shelter to offer protection from the wind and rain. The front of the campsite, including the canoe landing, are chunks of jagged rock that would be great for catching some sun during the day and then gazing up at the stars later in the evening. Overall I think this is a really nice site and if it’s available, it’s a great choice while camping on Canisbay Lake.
