This is a really beautiful campsite on Canisbay Lake. Unlike most of the other sites on the western shore that have rocky landings, this campsite has a long beachfront. A small gradual slope brings you into the main campsite area which has a fire pit overlooking the water, with a large picnic bench nearby. The view out onto Canisbay Lake is stunning, however it faces the campgrounds and since sound travels easily over water, I actually heard a car honk while visiting this site. But otherwise, this site is very picturesque and would make a great place to camp. The site is rounded off with a few perfect tent pads to give you a good night’s sleep. You’ll need it after all the swimming and sunbathing from the beachfront! For some reason when I visited this campsite, it felt like I was at the most popular and highest demand campsite on the lake. It’s not my personal favourite on the lake, but it still somehow had that feeling to it.
