Burntroot Lake – Campsite #14 - 2017

The highly desired Anchor Island on Burntroot Lake in Algonquin. It is a gorgeous island site with lots of open rock on the northwest shore, perfect for sunbathing, stargazing, and watching the sunset. There are flat tent spots to accommodate a few small tents, and comfortable seating around the fire pit. There is also an unexpectedly perfect sunrise view from the landing opening on the southeast side of the island. Oh, and there’s a giant anchor in the middle of the site!
