Big Trout Lake – Campsite #4

There was something about this campsite that I really enjoyed… it just seems like a fun site to stay at. Before trying to haul your gear up the mountain of small rocks (which probably makes for an epic tobogganing hill in the winter), note that the proper canoe landing is on the south side of the island with a staircase leading you to the top. The top of the site is very flat with plenty of seating and level ground to pitch multiple tents. With its beautiful west views and rocky shoreline at the bottom of the mountain, and a rather normal interior, I feel like this site would actually be pretty fun to camp on. As long as you don’t mind the climb from the landing to the main site.
