Big Trout Lake – Campsite #27

A beautiful island site on Big Trout Lake. The campsite is very open and spacious, with multiple tent spots to accommodate large groups. The fire pit has lots of good seating and backs on to a large rock. There is a trail that leads to a large open rock face on the northwest side of the island, although it is a bit overgrown and doesn’t offer much seating. The site has a rocky beach landing, although it can become flooded in high water levels. The site is relatively sheltered for a small island and offers a great view of the sunrise.
