Big Trout Lake – Campsite #14

What I like about this campsite is the rocky shoreline with a beautiful view down the east end of Big Trout Lake, and the grassy (ie. soft) grounds to pitch your tent. The fire pit and seating is tucked away inland which offers good protection from any winds, but doesn’t offer a nice view while cooking or sitting by the fire. Otherwise the campsite isn’t very memorable and I’m guessing it doesn’t get used too often… despite the fact that the fire pit was full of garbage and burnt cans. Pack out what you pack in! (and don’t bring cans, it’s against park rules)
